Attendance before a Medical Tribunal is considered an essential service. Medical Panels continues to operate during lockdowns or when restrictions are in place. Appropriate precautions are in place to ensure the protection of the public and staff - social distancing in our reception area and examination rooms, use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by Panel Members, mandatory wearing of face masks, pre-appointment health screenings by one of our Nurses.
The extent of the COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges for Medical Panels, as it has for a range of other agencies and tribunals. Medical Panels has been working hard to ensure all referrals can be heard as efficiently as possible, whilst protecting injured workers, claimants, Panel Members and Medical Panels' staff.
